Refrigerator not cooling because of a failed door gasket
Why it happens here
Higher humidity near the Delta softens and warps door gaskets faster than in drier areas. Once the seal fails, warm air enters the cabinet, the evaporator coil ices up, and the compressor runs nonstop trying to hold temperature.
Our approach
We test the gasket seal on every refrigerator and freezer call, replace it when it is failing, and clean the condenser coil at the same time. That restores the seal and lowers the compressor load, which extends the life of the unit.
